MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Welcome to Elmwood Middle School!
It is my honor to welcome you to a school community where every student is valued, supported, and challenged to grow. At Elmwood, our mission is simple: to create an environment of educational excellence where all belong, all learn, and all succeed. Our vision is equally important: Believing leads to achieving; meeting the needs of everyone, every day. We believe that when students know they are capable, supported, and cared for, they can accomplish extraordinary things. That belief drives every decision we make and every opportunity we provide.
As one of the largest and most diverse middle schools in Arkansas, we are proud of the opportunities available to our students. Whether through rigorous academics, athletics, fine arts, clubs, leadership opportunities, or service projects, there is truly a place for everyone to connect, learn, and thrive. What makes Elmwood special is not just our programs, it is our people. Our dedicated teachers and staff work every day to build meaningful relationships with students while creating engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, growth, and confidence. We believe middle school is a time to discover passions, develop character, and build the skills necessary for future success.
At Elmwood, our motto is simple: Work Hard. Be Nice. These words guide everything we do. We encourage students to give their best effort, treat others with kindness and respect, and take advantage of every opportunity that comes their way. When students embrace these values, amazing things happen. Parents and families are also essential partners in our work, and we look forward to building strong relationships with you throughout the school year. Together, we can ensure that every child feels a sense of belonging, experiences meaningful growth, and reaches their full potential.
Thank you for choosing Elmwood Middle School. We are excited to be part of your journey and cannot wait to see all that you will accomplish.
Dr. Molly Davis
